Not Ranked : 0 Re: Tricos on NJ Streams? IMHO the best hatch on the BFB is the trico. Unfortunately everyone seems to concentrate in fishing the fly stretch. The gravel pit gets especially busy when the hatch is on. I would suggest doing a little exploring downstream. I have had great success in meeting the hatch in those sections of the stream that you would think are fished out since getting pounded during stocking time. And the trout aren't as "fly shy" as you sometimes encounter in the fly fishing only stretches. |
