For all you dad's out there hope it's a good one.
Got out this morning to fish a small stream with wild browns. With the heavy rains blowing out most of the bigger rivers I figured I could catch this particular stream on the downward side of the cycle. I wasn't disappointed, while still running at elevated levels it was beginning to clear but not so much that the fish were skittish. Small buggers and muddlers did the trick. I got 3 browns up to 9", LDR on 2 more good fish, including one that made three cartwheeling leaps! Missed a host of others, damn wild ones are so fast

Packed in after 2hrs and went to have breakfast with my dad and my sons. Great fathers day.
BTW- The off color and elevated water is the key. Last time I fished this place it was lower and clear, I moved fish but nothing over 6".
