  Not Ranked : 0 South Branch Raritan Report 6/19/09 Today at around 330 I left for the South Branch in Washington TWP right across the street from West Morris High School. Their is a little sign that says additional parking. Anyway the water was at normal levels and was almost clear. Saw a lot of flys on the surface but no rising trout. I used princes, copper johns, hares ear. Hooked about 5 fingerling carp and 1 fingerling trout. First time to that part of the stream and was a little to get used to. As I left a guy caught a 7 inch trout on a mickey finn right off the bridge. Good weather but a bad day of fishing. Have no pics.   |
