| Public Money Stocking Private Water Yesterday, I perused the new 2004 Stocking List for NJ, Noticed there are several spots in the Newark Watershed that are stocked. Why do we have to pay to stock water, that we have to gain additional permision & pay additional fees to access and even then access is limited. If Newark wants to run its own private " Pay Fishing Lake " then let them pay to stock it. In the areas bordering sussex.passaic & morris counties, there is is a tremendous amount of Off limit fishing area's meant to protect this watershed. Meanwhile we are paying to stock it?
I wish I had gone to the " Stocking Meeting " but get out of Jail free cards are used sparingly by us Married w/kids fisherman, and I want to know who was the bonehead who planned this meeting on Valentines Day!
I just woke up on wrong side of bed today, so looking for some angry rhetoric. Have at it.
