 Good Day at the Pequest Well today I decided to hit the pequest for a few hours. Me and a buddy of mine got to the river at about 11. There was only one other car in the lot, which I attribute to the fairly bad weather earlier in the morning. The river is running a little high, but almost perfect, however it is still fairly cold, I would say about 40-42 degrees. I got 1 rainbow that measured about 16" and another guy I saw told me that he had caught 1 earlier, but that was it as far as fish went. When I left at 1:45 there was only 4 cars in the lot. It was a great day to be on the river.  |
