BFB Birthday Bow

Well I've hit the big 50! No wise cracks please.

My number one son came home from college to take me fishing on the BFB and to eat cake.

We hit Werner's Pool around 8am. Water temp was 48 and airtemp was 40. Cound see many fish, but most of them were lethargic from the temp drop over night I'm sure. Had a couple grab and spit my PT before I could set the hook. Not another fisherman in site.

Then we headed to the Petting Zoo. I could not believe there was no one there either. No takers for the first hour there. Then the sun came out for a bit and things picked up.

Most people like bows on their b-day presents...I prefer them on my hook. Caught this gorgeous hen on a GRHE.



The river is up where I like it. Hope it stays at t his level all winter.
