Hey Boys,

Just wanted to share my great day with ya'll. I haven't been out on Flatbrook in over 3 years and today was one to remember! Ironically, the day didn't start off so great... Found out the hard-way that my waders had a small hole...in the crotch...THAT was an eye-opener! Fortunately, I was able to rock-hop and wet-wade through the shallow waters. The brookies were DEMOLISHING my beadhead pheasant's tail and gold-ribbed hare's ear nymphs. It seemed like every 3 to 5 casts I was hooking up! Truly, amazing day! I landed four brookies, all over 13 inches, but I must have had 20+ hits. This might not seem like such an amazing day to many of you guys, but try to look at it from my point of view. I had been dreaming about flyfishing for years and FINALLY hit the water. Just being out on the water was incredible. Anyways, have to go hit the sack, best of luck on the water.
