| KLG Report for June 28, 2008 Started to rain this afternoon and I stopped into the board here and read The Sibs post and after responding headed off to my local neighborhood haunt for a cold one. Slow day in the news room you might say. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted with the obligatory, “NORM!”….. However, the bar maid already had her cute little hand rapped around the neck of a cold Corona.. just for me! That’s when I observed her tee shirt and the J. Giles song came to mind. Na-na- nanana-nana nanananaaaaa….. way to magical to touch you might say. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wx6t11D99tA Ok, back to business, like I said it was a slow news day and that usual translate into trouble for someone or something. When I got home after a couple of cold ones I decided to see what the Gorge was doing. A quick check of the local fly shop for their predictions and what USGS was reporting. Well the first one reported; “Water temps and stream levels are fine” The second one reported; flow rates of “49 cfs” OK.. lets see now….. Well I did check my fishing log and knew the flows and water levels were not up to the conditions I would venture out in. But I had to have a look-see anyway. |
