| Stocking With Wild Trout in Mind There are some streams that have a population of wild trout that are stocked with the same species or competitive trout. This poll is asking for your opinion regarding changing the stocking pattern, if possible, to avoid the threat to the wild population. A good example is a section of the Big Flat Brook that has wild brook trout, but has no record of rainbow trout reproduction in the watershed. What would be your reaction to stocking only rainbow trout where a viable population of wild brook trout exists to protect the wild fish population?
