Unfortunately I don’t have a tale to tell like AK, but I thought I would share some insect details about last night. Me and my brothers hit KLG late for the hatch. We got there around 7pm and the only rises we saw where for what looked like black caddis 20-24 and March Browns 16-18. By 8pm it had moved to a mix of Black Caddis 20-24, Sulphurs 12-16, BWO 18-20 and March Brown 12-16. As the sun set and the hatch got going it was all BWOs, Sulphurs and March Browns, but the trout didn't appear to interested in the Sulphures or BWOs and where feeding primarily on March Browns. We of course we didn't land anything, but we did have a bunch of misses and more importantly a little bit of fun. We where surprised to see that we where not the last ones leaveing like last year. I hope hatch time doesn't become as busy as the day time.
