Stopped by L&h Woods & Water (Wall location) today to unvail their new Fly Casting Challenge Course designed by Lefty Kreh. Lefty himself was on hand today for casting lessons, knot instruction, stories & big laughs. Unfortunatly Lefty's leg was all busted up in a cast & had difficulty walking, but had no problem laying out effortless long intentional casts. I purchased his book "Fishing Knots" 2007 (includes CD) which he was kind enough to sign for me. Learned valuable new techniques with him today. Tried the new course as well, set up on their private pond with casting stations all around. You cast (or unroll) to floating tagets, each requiring special adjustments. Casters tally up points like golf using score card with pars. My thanks go out to to Lefty, L&H owners & Staff for a great informative afternoon.
