Nj trout streams

Well as usual I had a great day.Fished one of many wild trout streams in NJ.Guys with a little hard work and a gps sysytem you can find some of the best fishing in the country right here in NJ.

Despite what some may think Nj offers much more to the Dry fly angler than the Catskills in NY.


I have been reading posts here for some time now and decided and time for me to help some of you out.Some of the techniques,methods,and even knowledge here is so antiquated.

I Fished to rising trout for three hours today,and hooked and released 43 fish(all wild) avg size was 17.25 inches.Largest one being a 5lb brown.

All caught on a size 30 diptera(that would be midge)pupa,fished just under the Miniscus,with my custom made bamboo rod,and Aaron reel.

I think my expertise is needed here since some of you who post here need some real fine tuning.
