the banboo rod

Hi there I just did someting with out knowing the quality or any information
of a banboo rod,I got a South Bend banboo rod from ebay.Does any one has information about it .I well really thank if some one knows any thing,I hope I well not need just to hand it in the wall,I would like to fish with it
