| Pequest - Who knows the real deal? Does any one know the story behind the rather Huge rainbows in the pequest. I know there is a Hatchery that release's the water from the raceways into the river via a cement culvert. But they could not be releasing the numbers of fish I have been seeing there nor would I think that this many fish could have survived despite years of stocking and have gained such impressive size & color. Today I caught a rather beat up 23 inch fish ( not typical, most are in great shape), I will attach picture, that I suspect could be a brood stock fish, but for the most part they are great fish. Are these fish coming from Deleware? They are stacking up in river like steel head, some are even real silver. Does that make a rainbow a steel head or is a steel head a differnt strain? Any help feilding these questions ? Fact or Fiction will do. Thanks, Ralph
