Ventured out to West Branch on Thur afternoon. Passed EB and BKill on the way, which looked pretty murky. Things looked promising on WB, various bugs on the water and fish sipping them from the surface. There were sulphurs, olives, and tricos I believe, not sure about the last one. Fish were working on olives, or at least this was the only pattern that worked for me. Managed to hook 4 browns, around 16-18in.
Quick note, as I've been encountering all kinds of rudeness on the water lately. If You are that guy that were fishing gamelands, who asked me whether is ok to fish below me or if I had a preference which way to fish up or down, I thank You for being considerate for others on the water - this never gets old and is always a pleasure to see. |
