Fished the KLG on Saturday from 6:30 til 2PM. It seems as though the fish are still podded together. Caught about 20 fish, 90% Brook Trout, but also caught 3 rainbows and one brown. Could these have been holdovers? I ask because I was told all that has been stoaked so far are brookies because they can withstand the cold march water. BHPT and tan Scud in tandem semmed to work the best. Spotted a 20+" trout swimming around, but coul not hook'em. Two of the rainbows caught were both 16" or larger. Good day, but it felt like cheating for some reason. |
