All,
Hit the Gorge Saturday with my father. A beautiful day for fishing and was really surprised with the fish activity. We stuck to nypmhing as would be expected for winter time and I had a ton of luck with a size 16 tungsten bead soft hackle pheasant tail. We tied a number of different combos including copper johns, hare ears, and buggers but the PT seemed to get all the strikes. Also seemd like fish really keyed in on silver bead because did not get many hits on brass bead PT.
Overall I caught six fish including two nice rainbows. I would say except for one smaller brown about 7-8", the rest of the fish were all 10-14". A great "winter" fishing day all in all. I look forward to these temps staying around for a while longer so we can keep this going! Hope everyone had a great Holiday. See you all in 2007.
