First Time: Winter Fishing

Last spring was my first year w/ the fly rod, and this winter I am really dying to get out there again. I have never done any river fishing in the winter, so I'm looking for any suggestions/pointers.

I generally fish the Musconetcong along Waterloo road/ Stevens State Park.. I caught a few on WoolyBuggers, and BeadHeads, but that was in the spring.

Any tips on fishing in these colder months.
