nj wildlife?

i am just begining my flyfishing hobby in nj.

what kind of wildlife should i expect to see out on the rivers? and what should i be wary of?

comingfrom floridausedto run see many gators, feral pig, somenasty snakes and once even a bull shark in the river. Im sure i wont see any of those culprits here, but what exciting creatures should i be on the lookout for? also which should i be wary of? any preautionsi should be aware of?
