| Opinions on using weight... All, I am local to Monmouth County and recently went to Tom's River for first time. I spoke to a local who has been fly fishing the TR for 15 years. He was pretty adamant on running deep with a "sliding" weight and said he tried split shot and puddy weight with no luck compared to sliding weights. Anyone else have any opinions here? I am trying a sinking leader attachment to get deeper with streamers but usually use split or puddy. What are everyone elses opinions here? Anyone else fishing fall stocking @ TR or MR lately with luck? --Andrew
