rockaway river access

Hi all,

I live near denville and have been trying to gain access to the rockaway river in denville but access is less then desirable. I have been parking in the St. Claire's parking lot (I think is illegal) and fishing....Anyone else have any advice on how to get access to the river in that are.

any input appreciated........
