Not Ranked : 0 warm water fish through the ice Well when the ice is 10" thick, flyfishing is pretty much over until spring. I did manage to slab up some nice perch today with my 11 year old son. A couple even came jigged up on home tied flies. Most shallow to mid deep lakes and ponds in the Adirondacks will produce some nice perch and pike with the occasional walleye. Yellow perch are pretty tasty from the frying pan. |
