Agreed. A little closer and also a good time is the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, in Livingston Manor. They have displays with all the tyers from Gordon on, and various displays with many of the tyers vises, materials and tools.
My personal favorite is the Darbee display, set up exactly as it was in their home right up the road.
