The NJ State Council is still working out some of the minor details, but we are pleased to announce our first ever Pig Roast on the banks of the Musky on Saturday, June 20th. You do not need to be a TU member to come out and enjoy some tasty barbecue and ice cold BEER. Stay tuned for more details on this event soon. June can be a busy month and I wanted to get it on everyone's calendar quickly.

It is planned for the former Cliffdale Inn property on route 57 northbound in lower Mansfield Twp. That is the light blue former restaurant on the Musky. We will be selling beer mugs (free refills w/ purchase!) and we will have some door prizes and a few nice raffle items in addition to a 50/50. Since I was spending all of the state council's $$, I figured I could help them raise some funds.

Proceeds go to NJTU for their continuing work with our Trout In the Classroom (TIC) program - now over 80 tanks statewide reaching more than 15,000 science programs this year alone, as well as our continuing efforts with my Musconetcong Home Rivers Initiative and other education and conservation programs state-wide. Come on out and support a great cause!
