If any of you is a Scout leader or knows one in the general Musconetcong watershed area, I am in need of free youth labor to help with riparian tree and shrub plantings on the Musky. Many Scouting groups have in-service requirements and often help with tree plantings. Just PM me if you know anyone.

Why youth? First, they have strong backs. But the real reason is that by engaging our youth in river restoration efforts, they will learn to become good citizens and hopefully sustain our efforts long after us "old guys" go to the big spring creek in the sky. We have far too many projects to just tap TU members to help on.
