| The Ken Lockwood Chapter of Trout Unlimited cordially invites you to attend their 25th Annual Fundraising Dinner, Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Three Bridges Volunteer Firehouse, located in Three Bridges, NJ. Festivities begin at 5:30 PM, with a cash bar; followed by a family-style, all you can eat, roast beef and ham dinner,prepared by Maddalena's Catering Company. As usual, there will be a basket raffle. Prizes are available to please every member of the family. The prizes will include flies tied by chapter members, fly rods constructed especially for this event, fly fishing books, reels, camping equipment, spin fishing outfits, merchandise from manufacturers such as Orvis, Echo Fly Rods, Fenwick, and Berkley; J. P. Ross Rod equipment donated by Shannon’s Fly Tackle Shop; Proceeds benefit the chapter's macro- invertebrate habitat preservation and stream bank stabilization activities. Dinner tickets are $40 each and must be purchased prior to March 14th. Children under the age of two years attend at no charge. This year's featured guest speaker is Austin Hepburn (ahepburn@austinhepburn.com), who will describe Picacho Lodge [Picacho Fishing Lodge in Chile] and provide descriptions of fly fishing adventures in Chilean Patagonia, in pursuit of Brown and Rainbow trout. Chile is a world-class destination for fly fishing. Its reputation is legendary, thanks to the variety of fish species to target, the quality of the fishing, the natural beauty of its landscapes and the hospitality of its people. The Picacho Lodge is situated on the banks of the Picacho River, the flow of which has characteristics that are ideal for fly fishermen: rapid currents, tranquil waters, and inviting pools. In addition, the Lodge is located minutes away from two lakes: the Roosevelt and the Copa. The lakes pure clear waters are surrounded by endless reed-filled bays teeming with rainbow trout, measuring between 13 and 18 inches on average, and brown trout that averaging 15 inches in length up to 25 inches Directions: FROM SOMERVILLE AND POINTS EAST Three Bridges Volunteer Firehouse is approximately 9 miles south of the Somerville Circle. Take US Route 202 south, to the Three Bridges exit, at the jug handle traffic light cross over US Route 202 North, headed toward the Hess gas station, and bear to the right at the Fleet bank. The Three Bridges Volunteer Firehouse is located at 467 Main Street. FROM FLEMINGTON, AND POINTS SOUTH Three Bridges Volunteer Firehouse is approximately 6 miles, traveling northbound on Route 202, from the Route 202-31 traffic circle in Flemington.
