We tried this last year but couldn't get enough guys in the fall. So we'll try again this spring.


This tournament will be held on June 8th on the Big Flat Brook in Sussex County. It will be at the lower end of the river near Flatbrookville, (Near where the stream runs into the Delaware-details and directions to follow). This is a friendly Tourn. Here are the rules.

I will start out with 25 spots in five different catagories. You will need to tie one fly person in the swap (one extra for the swapmeister of course). You need to pick an open spot in one of the catagories listed below. Enrollment will be based on replies here. Also name your fly. No duplicates. You can only fish with the twenty flies tied in the swap.

The tourn. will run from an 9:00 A/M check-in and we will fish until Noon. From Noon to 2P/M (or so) we will have a barbecue and hand out bragging rights/awards. After were done and before we start everyone can fish at their own leisure.

We will be looking for people to help with food, hamburgers/hot dogs, salads, etc. etc. etc.... More importantly we will be looking for prizes. Everyone can beat up their local sports shop for some inexpensive prizes. Prize catagories will be announced shortly.
