Battenkill up-date..

Fishing has been slow but very rewarding...(2) big browns both over 21" on #4 Pearl/White Zonkers...Water level is dropping fast...Last week we had the best Hendrickson hatch in many many years..However there were only a few fish feeding on top...Same for the spinner fall in the evening...Did take (3) fish on "soft hackles", one was a beautiful 11" brookie...44 degree's this a.m...Hope to get out later today after "mothers day" dinner...Hope to get on the Walloomsac tomorrow p.m., more later...
