I spent last week working in the Carolinas, GA and TN...My travels took me through the Southern Appalachians including Sumter, Chattahoochee and Cherokee National Forests... Unfortunately I had a crazy timeline and didnt have any free time at all to fish... I saw some water that I wanted desperately to fish but only managed to take a couple of pics...I have been fortunate enough to fish the Smokies a couple of times but have now added Northern GA to my "Bucket List"...Some pics.

I also drove over the Hiawassee, but it didnt look like much of a trout river that low but have heard some good reports of this river...
Next time I will be sure to pack a rod and build in some extra time....
Soo much water...Just too little time...
