Not Ranked : 0 Responsible West Report Well it's been almost a month since my western adventure, and I was just about to post a report on how we did, what we saw and other experiences we had. Boy am I glad I waited to post it! Given the way the "locked" thread went... I decided to run my report for you guys, by a couple of guys from out west. They feel the same way some here do about NOT giving detailed info about the fishing in their rivers. AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID THAT! My original report was, well, longer. But here is what they told me I could post: We got off the plane in *****, ** and drove in a ******** direction until we hit the *****'* ****. What a ********* river. You can see in the PIC below that the conditions were not the best. *********, but not entirely fishable. **Picture deleted-disclosed location*** As you can see by the next PIC, the fish were **** and in *** ********. I caught a ***** of ********* Brook Trout right up at the **** ******. They were hitting **** ***** ******** that I ***** at ****. I also caught a one **** ***** Rainbow there that first evening. ** Picture deleted- Showed fish*** We tried a few spots up and down the river from the **** all the way down through the *** ****** and on into ****** but the water was getting warmer as the temperatures climbed into the mid ninties. The next few shots I took of the scenery from the river. ** Pictures deleted- showed sensitive locations*** After two days we drove over the ********* mountains and into M****** We fished the ********** river and caught many fish in the ** - ** inch range that first night. Here is a pic of a ***** Cutthroat that took an *****. *Picture deleted- Showed fish*** We then floated the ********** and the **** **** over the next three days. There was a mixed bag of Rainbows, Cutthroats and Cut-Bows. They varied from six inches all the way up to some that were in the **-** inch slot. WOW. The flies we used were a bit unusual for us Delaware guys. Mike used flies that he tied though an still did **** well. THey had me use things such as ***** *******, ****** ******, ***** and a strange ****** colored flie that the fish just couldn't get ****** **. I'll end this with some scenery shots and some pictures of these absolutely ******* fish we were ***** able to land. I'd love to do it all again! *** picture deleted - showed location*** *** picture deleted -showed people having fun*** *** picture deleted- showed location*** *** picture deleted -showed fish of unusually large proportions*** *** picture deleted -Showed specific fly in fish's mouth***
