This past winter I read how The Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service opened a large number of brook trout streams that has been closed to fishing for 30 years.

I am now planning a fishing trip down there in mid-May.

I have been lucky enough to obtain an old map indicating the names and locations of the closed streams, which are many, and having never been to the park I don't know the area.

If anyone has ever fished there, I am open to any suggestions as to which side of the park to fish from, North Carolina or Tennessee? Looking for (RV) camp site to base my fishing expeditions from.

As always, any suggestions are appreciated.
