Polarized Sunglasses

What type of polarized sunglasses do you use? I've been using Revo' for years and have been happy. Unfortunately, both of my Revo's are in the shop and I have no idea as to when I'm going to get them back. In the mean time, I'm thinking of purchasing a pair of Action Optics. I'll compare them with my Revo's.

The ones I want have a lense based more on an amber color rather than the charcoal color I'm used to. This has nothing to do with 1 working better than the other and surprisingly enough, has nothing to do with personal preference. From what I've been reading, it should be based on using the right tool to get the job done the most efficiently. With that said, it would appear that you need to carry with you sunglasses of each shade available. Once you find something that matches that, find the ones that fit you the best and are the most comfortable, chances are you'll be wearing these for a long period of time.

It's all based on lighting conditions. On an overcast day, you probably want to use a more of a Yellow / Amber color because this blocks most of the Blue Light you see while increasing contrast. Blue light is when sunlight travels through the atmosphere, blue light spreads out more than any other color.

Check out this webpage to learn some more about sunglasses: Water Sports Sunglasses - Boating Sunglasses - Fishing Sunglasses

Anyway, I'm curious to know if any of you have tried various color lenses and which tints you've found to give you the advantage during most lighting conditions. I would imagine something in medium brown color would be the best for most conditions.
