Not Ranked : 0 I fished the WB 2 days ago and the air temp hit 90 degrees. Water temp in Deposit was 48 degrees at 6am and 60 degrees just above the game lands at 1:30pm. I'm sure it rose a few more degrees by late afternoon but I left at 2pm.
There were fish rising in the flat water at lunch time. They were extremely spooky. I only managed to catch one of these fish. It was a 12"brown that took a #24 griffiths gnat. I also caught one on an Iso in the faster water and had 3 more refusals. I think I ended up with about 8 browns. They were all in the 8-12" range. The big boys don't seem to want to come out and play in the bright sun. |
