Not Ranked : 0 Re: Food for thought None of the above unless Bourbon & cigars count as food. ![]() I eat before, or when I'm done fishing no matter how many hours I am out. That usually means a hearty breakfast on the full day outings, but nothing the rest of the day. During the long days of late spring & summer, dinner may not come until after 11:00 pm. Once in great blue moon if I'm fishing with friends and it is convenient, I'll break for lunch and numerous beers midday, but that never happens when I'm alone which is most of the time. The bottom line is, I hate toting along food or water or anything else extra if I can help it. Being hungry or thirsty is a minor inconvenience to me.
