Smile Fly line system for Steelhead in the Salmon River

Hello. I’m planning to fish for Steelhead in the Salmon River this October. This is my first time to fish there. Can anyone tell me if the following line system will work in that river? Incidentally, all these products are manufactured by 3M Scientific Angler.

Tippet: Fluorocarbon Tippet (20 pounds)
Tapered Leader: Fluorocarbon Leader ( 20 pounds)

With regards to fly lines, I found 3 excellent lines but don’t know which one will be the best for Salmon River.

1. Sinking Tip Fly Line: Mastery Series Freshwater Lines Wet Tip™ Express (9-weight)

2. Sinking Fly Line:Mastery Series Freshwater Lines Uniform Sink +(9-weight)

3. Sinking Fly Line:Professional Series Wet Cel™ (9-weight)

All these lines are very good lines but I have no idea what the sink rate should be since this is my first time to fish there. Should I use a 6.0 IPS? Or, is 2.0 IPS enough?

Also, I’ll appreciate you very much if you could tell me how lead-eyed flies perform in this river.

P.S.

I know many anglers use sinkers (split shots on the leader) but I prefer not to use them.
