I am planning my first fly fishing trip to southern VT in mid-Sept. and I'm looking for some places to try. I understand that ther is some dangerous algae in the Battenkill and I'm open to other smaller streams.

Any help would be appreciated. Happy to trade info on fishing the Farmington.
