Here's a question for the fun of it and to see who's out there.
Would you keep a trophy trout or Salmon just 'cause you're sure it will be State record?
Just to keep in context, ... The question isn't if you would NEVER keep a fish, I'm refering to this PARTICULAR fish.
I'll keep an occasional trout or juvenile salmon. Seems that the bigger the fish, the more I'm inclined to release it. Also, the research station here put out some data that showed that the sea run trout became return spawners once they made a certain size.
That's why we put out new regs for 2005 where an angler can only keep one trout over 15 inches per day (total of 5). |
