I fully support Biot's suggestions. I'd like to see a closure the entire week the streams are stocked in the Fall. A compromise would be the daily "until 5PM the day a stream is stocked" closures we have in Spring. I also find the Seasonal
TCA are conservation joke and support making all Seasonal
TCA's year-round
TCA fisheries. A third suggestion I have is to remove the 9-day open season slaughter on the Flyfishing "Only" section of BFB. A fourth suggestion is making the FFO creel limits more in line with
TCA regs. I'm putting all of these down in writing an sending them to the F&W since I can't make the meeting.
Also if it's a choice only between the continued regs at the FFO or the option of turning into a year-round
TCA (which means artificial lures only) I'd rather see the
TCA regs than the current BS regs on that stretch. Opening it up to artifical lures only really doesn't bother me, there's too much water available to cry about that too much. And with better creel limit regs the fishing throughout all that water I think would only get better and we might see better distribution of the wild trout population.
