Hello everyone, I just want to take a quick second to introduce myself. My name is Frank and I live in Orange County, NY. I've been bass fishing (spinning and baitcasting setups) for a few years now but I've always wanted to try fly fishing. To make a long story short I bought myself a starter setup (5wt) and I've been watching tons of instructional videos on YouTube while at the same time practicing my casts in the back yard.

Anyway, I feel like I've have a decent grip on the basics and I'd like to get out there and give actual fishing a try. Anyone have any advice for me as to where to start? Like I said, I live in Orange County, NY (about an hour Northwest of NYC). Thanks in advance for all the help!
