Progress. Yesterday morning fished a spot having gotten a tip by a local. Saw carp cruising around in a pool! Some of them were quite large.

Tried all sorts of flies, mymphs and streamers but they would not take. Didn't seem to be feeding. Funny the most interest a fish showed was where the fly line was attached to my leader. Came up and had a look.

Judging by all the Y sticks in the banks, these fish are fished to by bait fisherman so I'm going tie up some corn and bread flies to imitate their food source.
