Heading up to Barryville, NY this weekend to camp, canoe, and drink a little beer
. Anyways the campground is on the D so I thought I'd give the smallies a try. Couple questions:
1) Can I order a NYS license on line (do they have a 3 day version?)?
2) I figure there is virtually no chance of trout in that area so do I need not worry about water temps?
3) There allegedly a trout stream on the camp property, Beaver Brook I think, is it worth any effort at this time of year?
4) In general how has the fishing been this year?
I was planning on going at the smallies with white and olive buggers and maybe small clousers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
