Canada ?

Hi all,

This thread is actually to reply to Mark (Willowhead)

Mark, you're finally going to make it north of the line to go after Salmo Salar (in 2006).

I'm a typical (imho) flyfisherman (FF), because I don't really get out of my region that much.

I need some help getting info for Mark. Here's how the info has been presented so far.

Our prospective Salmo Salar enthousiast has finally decided to really plan a trip up "North" to go after one of the sports most magnificent conquests. I asked him to evaluate his expectations, ... here's why.

Most of my clients fall into 1 of 4 categories:

1) FF wants to catch a salmon or
2) FF wants to spend a nice day on a beautiful river or
3) FF wants to spend a nice day on a famous river or (finally)
4) FF wants to catch a salmon on a beautiful and famous river.

As FF has exprested interest in ACTUALLY catching a Salmo Salar, we need to get him onto the river in "prime time", that is the periode of the year when, historically, the adult salmon are just arriving.

For me hereon the Rv Ste-Margeurite, this means from 14 june - 15 july.

Any one have any input that can help our dear friend ??

thanx

p.s.: Here's an example of what MR wants to go after:
