Fished the Provo about 1/2 mile below the Deer Creek Resivoir dam on thursday morning for about 5 hr's. Water is preseason runoff and levels are still low. Landed about 25 - 30 fish, had on and lost just as many. Catch was mostly rainbows with about 8 nice size browns. Had one cut-throat on but it took a run up, down, and up stream again before he finally became only the second fish of the day to break off. There were probably another ten anglers fishing in this stretch and everybody was having the same kind of day. Fished a sow bug above a gray green midge which accounted for the most fish but did get a few on the sow. There was anice hatch coming off but no surface activity at all.

I did get a few pictures and will try to post them when I get home on Sunday.
