So DEC has a pretty good program of acquiring land easements along fishing streams, and they even do a pretty good job making the info available...

PFR on Selected Waters in New York - NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation

Unfortunately, they don't list anything for Region 4 (Capital district/n. catskills) though I know they exist. Anyone know of somewhere to look to find this info? I'd like to scout some more local streams but am wary of trespassing. Maybe I'll shoot DEC an email.
