Bugs of the Underworld
Has anyone purchased or viewed the DVD Bugs of the Underworld by California School of Flyfishing?

In an article reviewing the DVD it made mention that midge pupa adopts a U-shape attitude as it attempts to force its way through the surface film.

Now some of you fish midges and I have tied a number of them and never in any of the tying books or peeking into someones fly box and I have yet to see anyone tie a midge on a curved hook.

Maybe the extremely small size hook that is required is the reason.

I was wondering if anyone ties their midges on curved hooks?
