I was just looking at the website for the Somerset show and they list a slew of "celebrities" that are going to be there. Now, is there anything more ridiculous than the idea of a fly fishing celebrity?

"OhMiGod! I was just, like, walking down the street and, like, ran into Jay Fishy Fullum! I couldn't believe it! I thought he'd be much taller in person."

Last November I was at the fly tying symposium and a very nice fisherman showed me how to tie one of his creations. Then he snatched it out of my hand and insisted on autographing it like he was A-rod signing a ball. More like A-hole, I thought.

Don't take yourselves too seriously folks!
