Striper advice for jersey shore area...

All,
I know the season should be winding down now but I am trying to get more into salt water fishing as I live very close to Manasquan shore area. I think I am ok with setups for fishing but looking for some advice on where to go right now? I was going to try the Manasquan beach (smaller jetty) areas for practice if nothing else but appreciate any adivce on other areas to fish. Do most of you go to Sandy Hook? Are most of you fishing the tide swings? I have both an intermediate and a T-14 outbound sinking setup. Curious what everyone else out there is using? Thanks!
