Major concern has been raised in the Delaware River angling community over a proposed townhouse development on the West Branch in Deposit adjacent to the Deposit Men's Club.

Rumors were of a complete paving of the current cornfield with 26 lots and 70 condominiums being built. The actual plans, so far as I know, are for 12 lots of 4-7 acres each and 30 acres dedicated to green space for what will be called Trout Run Village.

I'm sure that far more anglers were concerned about access to the river bend at that point and below, than in the aesthetics of the area. Plans can be seen at Delaware River Resorts
